Global consumer electronics manufacturer, LG Electronics (LG), has announced the renewal of its multi-million pound partnership with The FA. The two-year deal will span across Wembley Stadium connected by EE, England’s Men’s Team, England’s Women’s Team and the eLions – The FA’s official esports team.

Creative marketing agency Eleven Marketing & Communications has been appointed by NHS Resolution as its primary supplier of design and print services. Eleven, which is a fully integrated marketing agency for the public sector, not-for-profit organizations and for-profit businesses, will support NHS Resolution by strengthening their corporate identity to communicate more effectively across visual media channels and enhance their reputation.

Shutterfly, the leading e-commerce retailer and manufacturer of personalized products, has selected Mischief @ No Fixed Address as creative agency of record. Mischief will handle creative campaign strategy, development and execution for the Shutterfly consumer brand.

Royal Philips has selected Omnicom Group Inc as its global integrated creative, media and communications agency partner, subject to final contractual agreement. Financial details of the multi-year partnership were not disclosed.

Purpose-led fruit and vegetable delivery service Oddbox has appointed Splendid Communications as its lead agency to work on earned media. Following a three-way competitive pitch facilitated by Creativebrief, Splendid has been briefed to help Oddbox establish food waste as a major climate issue.

Wonderhood Studios has been appointed by SumUp to launch their 2021 brand campaign in the UK after a competitive pitch. SumUp enables small businesses to accept card payments, with no contracts or hidden fees. Wonderhood will begin work on the business immediately and has been briefed to create an integrated multi-channel campaign.

M&C Saatchi Performance, global digital media agency, has been awarded the digital mandate for Beam Suntory, world leader in premium spirits. As per the mandate, which will run until April 2022, the agency will be responsible for the digital media planning, buying and strategy across key Beam Suntory brands such as Jim Beam, Auchentoshan, Roku and Strong Zero.

Swyft Home, the furniture design start-up, has appointed London creative shop 20something as its lead creative partner to drive brand growth in the UK, following a competitive pitch. As the brand’s first ATL creative partner, 20something will be responsible for all elements of brand strategy, including all platform and above-the-line executions, social and press activity, as well as creating the brand’s first TV work.

Mergers and acquisitions

Grey has announced today that it is fully acquiring and integrating its social media agency, Wildfire, into Grey London, effective June 1. Grey took a minority investment in 2008 and increased its shareholding to become a majority shareholder in 2011. Wildfire was founded in 2005 and was then the first specialist word-of-mouth agency in Europe.

Ongoing pitches

EO Charging, the UK-based electric vehicle charging company, is gearing up its search for new creative and media agencies and continues to expand. Founded in 2015, EO recently secured a deal to be the official charging partner for Amazon in the UK and Ireland, providing charging stations for the delivery vehicles in those countries.
